Itinerary

Half Day:Moray Agricultural Center - Maras Salt Mines

We will pick you up from your hotels or accommodations in Cusco in the morning, starting at 8:30 AM, to begin our journey through the Sacred Valley, exploring the richness of the Inca civilization.

We will begin with a brief visit to Chinchero, where we will immerse ourselves in the artisan community to learn about the process of treating llama and sheep wool.
Afterward, we will head to the Moray Archaeological Site. This place was an agricultural laboratory where the Incas experimented with adapting plants to the different microclimates and altitudes of the region.
Next, we will pass through the charming town of Maras, which still preserves vestiges of its rich colonial history.
The culmination of our trip will be at the Maras Salt Mines. Together with our guide, we will go to the viewpoint to admire the majestic salt ponds. It is fascinating to observe how, even today, the local inhabitants use ancestral techniques to transform saltwater into salt crystals. We will conclude our tour by returning to the center of Cusco, with an estimated arrival time between 2:30 and 3:00 PM.

Please note: The itinerary may vary depending on weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances. Trust our guide, who will adjust the tour to ensure your adventure is unforgettable.
