See Cusco from a different perspective on a hot air balloon experience near Sacsayhuamán. During the tethered flight, you will rise to approximately 100 meters above the ground and enjoy panoramic views of the city, surrounding mountains, and Andean landscape. The experience begins early with transportation from your accommodation and balloon preparation, followed by a picnic breakfast and a traditional toast after the flight.
The experience begins with pickup between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. from any hotel located in the historic center of Cusco or from Regocijo Square if the hotel is located farther away. Upon arrival at the flight area, Zone X, which is also very close to the archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman, the pilot gives a safety briefing and organizes the groups to board the balloon. The flight lasts 15 minutes. Once all groups have flown, a traditional flight ceremony is held with champagne, followed by a picnic-style breakfast consisting of (sweet and savory bread, juice, coffee, and herbal teas). Afterwards, we transfer passengers to Cusco’s Main Square, arriving at approximately 8:30 a.m., where passengers can continue with other tours.
