Explore the landscapes of the Sacred Valley on an ATV adventure to Laguna Huaypo and the community of Checoq. The route follows rural trails through farmland, mountains, and small villages, offering a different perspective of the region. At Laguna Huaypo, enjoy a peaceful natural setting surrounded by Andean scenery, while Checoq gives you the chance to discover a quieter area away from the usual tourist routes.
The tour begins with pickup at Plaza Regocijo between 12:50 PM and 1:00 PM. This adventure is designed for nature lovers and those wishing to connect with local residents. We travel by vehicle for approximately 50 to 60 minutes from Cusco to the village of Cruzpata, where the tour starts with a 10-minute practice session. The journey begins with a visit to Huaypo Lagoon, accompanied by a brief historical overview of the site. Next, we visit the colonial church of Tiobamba, followed by the Checoq archaeological site, where we can admire the snow-capped peaks of Chicon and Verónica. Throughout the tour, we make stops so passengers can take photos of the various landscapes. Finally, we return to our base, board the vehicle, and head back to Cusco, arriving around 7:00 PM at Plaza Regocijo.
