Full Day: Cusco - Ausangate - Cusco

To begin the 7 Lakes Ausangate 1-Day Tour, our local guide and tour minibus will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 4:30 and 5:00 am. You will then take a 3-hour drive to the community of Pacchanta, where you will enjoy a delicious homemade breakfast. After breakfast, between 8:00 and 8:30 am, you will begin your uphill hike at a leisurely pace, enjoying the scenic beauty of the Vilcabamba mountain range. As you take photos and stroll amidst the incomparable landscape of the seven colorful lakes and the steep, snow-capped mountains, your professional guide will explain everything about the area.

Take your time to fully appreciate the breathtaking scenery. Admire the high Andean flora and fauna. Llamas and alpacas will greet you along the 7 Lakes of Ausangate circuit and will happily pose for selfies with you.

After the 6-hour hike to the seven lakes of Ausangate, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch in the community of Pacchanta. Then relax in the hot springs; this will be very rewarding after your unforgettable hike.
Between 3:00 and 3:30 PM, take your tourist transport back to Cusco. Arrival is approximately at 6:30 PM.
