06:00 a.m. | Hotel Pick-Up and Departure from Cusco
After breakfast at your hotel, our team will pick you up to begin the journey toward the community of Yanacancha, located in the district of Ocongate.
Along the way, we will make a short stop in the town of Oropesa to see the traditional production of chuta bread. We will then continue our journey, enjoying the beautiful landscapes of the Cusco highlands. Our guide will introduce you to the history, culture, and natural environment of this part of the Andes.
During the Journey | Andean Cultural Experience
Along the way, we will have the opportunity to learn about the daily life and culture of high-Andean communities, as well as their traditions and close relationship with nature.
We will make a technical stop at the Cuyuni viewpoint, where you can stretch your legs and use the restroom facilities before continuing the journey.
Depending on the day’s schedule, we may visit a traditional textile workshop and learn about the work of local artisans who preserve ancestral weaving techniques using alpaca and llama fibers.
Arrival in Yanacancha | Start of the Adventure
Upon arriving at the community, we will prepare to begin our hike toward Singrenacocha Lagoon.
The route takes us through an impressive high-Andean landscape surrounded by mountains and nature, allowing us to get away from the more conventional tourist routes.
Trekking to Singrenacocha
We will hike approximately 5 km round trip, enjoying the scenery and taking the necessary breaks to rest and take photographs.
Our professional guide will accompany the group throughout the entire hike.

After the hike, we will reach one of the most special moments of the experience:

Its turquoise waters and spectacular mountain surroundings create a unique landscape in the Cusco Andes.
We will have time to admire the scenery, take photographs, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before beginning our return journey.

We will enjoy lunch during the excursion at a suitable location, depending on the day’s operating conditions.
Return to Cusco
After completing the experience, we will return to our vehicle and begin the journey back to Cusco.
