Day 1: LIMA

Begin this adventure with your appointment at Lima International Airport in Peru. Upon arrival, our team will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in the Miraflores district, undoubtedly one of Lima’s most attractive neighborhoods, located in the south-central part of the city. You will have the rest of the afternoon to relax or explore the first-class infrastructure, the friendly, modern, and well-organized atmosphere, and the tourist and cultural attractions that Lima offers, perched on cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with verdant boardwalks and sophisticated restaurants.
• Overnight in Lima in your selected hotel category.

Day 2:LIMA CITY TOUR - AREQUIPA

After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at the agreed-upon time to begin your city tour. You will stroll through the main streets, plazas, and avenues, starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, with its spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. Next, you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial center of the Lima culture, and in San Isidro, the city’s financial district, you’ll see Huaca Huallamarca, an ancient pre-Inca shrine. Continue to the Plaza de Armas, where you’ll find the Government Palace and the City Hall. Visit the Cathedral and walk to the Convent of Santo Domingo, whose corridors were frequented by Saint Martin de Porres and Saint Rose of Lima in the 17th century, and where their remains now rest. At the agreed-upon time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Arequipa. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 3:AREQUIPA – COLCA

At the designated time, transfer to the spectacular Colca Valley. You’ll ascend the slopes of the Chachani volcano; the views of the Misti and Picchu Picchu volcanoes are breathtaking. You will cross through the Pampa Cañahuas vicuña reserve, where you will see them roaming freely across the high Andean plains. You will pass through charming traditional villages. At the agreed-upon time, early in the morning, you will be taken to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint. You will be eager to witness the majestic flight of the condors, enormous Andean birds on the verge of extinction that are the symbol of the Andes Mountains. The view allows you to fully appreciate the scale of the canyon, considered one of the deepest in the world. (Condor sightings depend on weather conditions that allow these birds to fly. As it is a natural phenomenon, sightings cannot be guaranteed.) You will visit the towns of Maca and Yanque, which still preserve their colonial churches.
After lunch, you will travel approximately 6.5 hours by private transport to the city of Puno, where you will be met, assisted, and transferred to your hotel.

Enjoy a boat trip on the world’s highest navigable lake to the remote island of Taquile. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of the island, passing by some of the best viewpoints for capturing stunning photographs. Have lunch at a local restaurant, and after your delicious meal, return to Puno. You’ll then have free time to explore the beautiful city or dine at one of its many restaurants.

The following stops will be for lunch and to enjoy beautiful views at La Raya, the natural border between Puno and Cusco. You will continue to Raqchi, the Temple of the God Wiracocha, where the enormous walls and passageways of the complex are particularly striking. Before reaching your final destination, you will visit the beautiful chapel of Andahuaylillas. After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of this charming city, the former capital of the Inca Empire. The tour begins with a visit to the Convent of Santo Domingo, built atop the Inca temple of Coricancha, one of the most important sites dedicated to sun worship. Ancient chronicles describe its walls as covered in gold leaf and adorned with gilded representations of nature. Next, visit the Cathedral, the most imposing monument in the Plaza de Armas. Afterward, head to the Cusco hills to the fortress of Sacsayhuamán, whose imposing walls offer a breathtaking panoramic view of Cusco. Continue to Qenqo, an archaeological complex used for religious purposes, where it is believed the Incas practiced rituals related to agriculture. Your tour ends at Puca Pucara, Quechua for “red fort,” an architectural complex believed to have been used for military purposes, with multiple rooms, plazas, baths, aqueducts, and towers. It is thought to have been used by the Inca entourage while the leader rested at Tambomachay. After the visit, you will return to the historic center of Cusco.
